The idea that it is within all of us to express ourselves artistically is very important to me, from a young age children are often labelled 'arty' or 'math-sy' as if it is impossible to be more than one thing. By being labelled as a scientific mind all artistic expression seems restricted and untenable, when all people are capable and need artistic expression. This is the idea that is running through my entire project, that we all need and can connect through poetry.
